The aim of the traditional event is to familiarize the Hungarian professional public with the diverse fields of application of supercritical solvents, new opportunities for the development of high-pressure devices, the measurement of physico-chemical properties (density, viscosity, etc.) of pressurized fluids, as well as the current research directions of related disciplines (thermodynamics, energetics). Our goal is to introduce Hungarian research workshops and experts who have achieved internationally acknowledged results in this field, and to promote international networking with the participation of foreign researchers. The conference is free of charge for those coming from the domestic budgetary institution. 

If you have used or are using supercritical solvents in your work (chromatography, extraction, reactors, etc.) and would like to report your results at the eighth conference "Analytical and Operational Application of Supercritical Solvents", please submit a max. 1-page abstract of the presentation and the application form by March 15, 2018. The application form can be completed online (http://sfe.kkft.bme.hu). When preparing an extract of the presentation, please pay attention to the downloadable guide, which we will be happy to send you by e-mail if requested.

After the conference, speakers and poster presentations can submit manuscripts to the thematic issue of Periodica Polytechnica Chemical Engineering (open access, 2016 IF 0.557) until 30 June 2018. The evaluation of manuscripts is carried out according to the normal business of the journal.
