Miscellaneous Information

I started working in the research group in 2020 as a BSc student. For my thesis, I studied the melting phase diagram of a system exhibiting eutectic behavior in the presence of high-pressure carbon dioxide and various co-solvents.

Subsequently, during my master's thesis, my supervisor and I started to design an instrument with the aim of developing a new method for studying solid-liquid phase transitions under pressure. Our automated system enables more productive work, as the person performing the measurement only needs to be present during the start and evaluation of the measurement. The project was supported by the New National Excellence Program. During my MSc studies, I spent half a year at Aalto University in Finland, supported by the Erasmus program.

I started my doctoral work in February 2023, where I am working on the further development and validation of the previously implemented instrument, and also on high-pressure particle formation. I have been awarded a Doctoral Excellence Fellowship Programme scholarship for the duration of my doctoral work, and I also teach in Chemical Engineering II and Chemical Engineering Laboratory courses.
